| Solar heating systems need not be big to be effective or efficient. This police station located in a borough of Montreal was built to LEED® Gold standards in part using the architectural, horizontal black MatrixAir™ cladding along the top south west façade. The 329 ft2 solar air heating collector is preheating up to 2300 CFM of fresh air and yields upwards of 72 MWh in annual energy savings.
