| Just one of many new LEED® certified fire stations being built incorporating MatrixAir™ solar collectors, Cynthia Lauzon, spokesperson for the City of Gatineau, says that the construction of Fire Hall #6 falls within the guidelines of the Strategic Plan of the City: "This project contributes to the well-being and sense of security of citizens in their living environment by ensuring the implementation of safety-related measures. Moreover, it is part of a search for financial sustainability and responsible fiscal management." The 75 m2collector is connected to the buildings HVAC systems CO detectors. | |
